On 12th February 2026, ESMOD Jakarta had the pleasure of welcoming the team from UNIQLO Indonesia for a visit that marked the beginning of what we believe could become a meaningful collaboration. The conversation started with a shared idea: building a partnership that is sustainable, simple, and innovative. As a fashion institution dedicated to shaping future industry talents, ESMOD continuously equips its students with strong creative foundations, technical expertise, and a forward-thinking mindset. Pairing this with UNIQLO — a globally established brand known for its thoughtful design philosophy and long term commitment to sustainability — feels like a natural alignment.

What makes this potential collaboration even more exciting is the common ground we share. Both ESMOD and UNIQLO believe that education plays a crucial role in driving the future of fashion, especially when it comes to implementing responsible and sustainable practices within the industry. Following the meeting, the UNIQLO team joined us for a school tour, where they experienced firsthand the academic journey of ESMOD students — from first-year exploration to the final creations of our fourth-year Fashion Design and Creative Business students. More than just garments, they witnessed a comprehensive learning process that spans product development, craftsmanship, branding, and marketing. It is this holistic approach that prepares our graduates not only to enter the fashion industry, but to contribute meaningfully to it.
